snippets
snippets is a project that aims to cultivate a greater body of repertoire for percussion by commissioning, recording, & premiering new works. all snippets collaborations incorporate electronics, non-standard scoring, improvisation, or virtuosity in some fashion. in the first iteration of snippets, 10 composers each wrote a 3’ miniature for 1 of 3 multi-percussion setups with electronics. snippets 2 was a more intimate collaboration with bowling green state university’s new music organization, praecepta.
